Hi ive had a wierd error for a week or so now, originally thinking that the intel graphics chip had developed a fault as I cannot use that either, but I think it is part of another problem.

When I start up the mbp I get the chime then just a black screen and then it will boot, there is no grey screen with the apple on it. I have tried resetting the PRAM and NVRAM and that didnt solve the problem.

I have reformatted the system on 2 different hard drives multiple times so it has to be a problem with the macbook itself as the symptoms are displayed on both drives.???

What could the problem be on the Macbook Pro that would explain this behavior.

Its a macbook pro core i7 15inch mid 2010 high res anti glare

Its running efi 1.9 but is there anyway to reset the bootloader or efi ???

Any idea would be super super helpful thanks.

HERE IS A VIDEO OF THE BOOT

Thanks in advance.
