Installed IOS 18 a few days and it worked great until the next day I installed OS11 on the watch. Now no matter what I do I cannot get just haptics on my watch when an email comes through. Its either with sound or completely silent. I like it to just tap me on the wrist when I am at work and its really annoying now. I have tried all the setting in mirror my iphone and custom. I don't know why it has stopped working since messages etc can still get haptic only with the same settings. It must be a bug because other people are having the same problem.

I thought I was going crazy, but I am having the same issue. Haptics are only randomly working since installing 11. If the sound is off, I’m missing all sorts of alerts.

I’ve re-paired my watch and everything and still the same. Wish I could report it direct to Apple. Sent them a report but bet it just gets ignored.

The OS update has made no difference unfortunately I think it’s gone for good.

Same issue not receiving mail haptic and/or alerts on Ultra2. Watch OS 11.0.1, iOS 18.1. Set watch notification for Mail to ”custom” and set iCloud to ”Haptic”. I get nothing.

Can you report it to Apple? The more that do it the more likely they are to fix it.
