When I downloaded and installed iOS 8 on my iPad mini retina this morning the first thing I noticed was the Health app was missing. Couldn't find it in the app store so I'm assuming it comes pre-installed with the OS. any suggestions?

Can someone just tell me if the health app comes with iOS 8 on the ipad. TIA

Apple removed HealthKit apps due to a bug... see the article on the main page...

While it is true that Apple removed some third party apps from the App Store that used Health Kit, Apple's Health app is still a part of ios 8 on the iPhone.

The Health app is not available on iPad apparently.

That really sucks, I was hoping to do more diabetes management with my iPad mini. I noticed it wasn't in the 1st GM build either. I'll have to use my iPhone for now.

Maybe if you dialed back the attitude people would be more inclined to help you.
