No icons whatsoever!

I jailbroke and unlocked my 2G running 3.0. Then I went to reset the phone and erased everything, it seems as if I erased all my icons along with it! When I go to spotlight to search for an app, no match found.

I'm not at my mac at the moment but would restore work?
