No iMac display sleep or screen saver while playing music

While playing from the Music app (streaming to a HomePod and playing on computer, or streaming to a stereo and HomePod), my 2019 iMac's display won't go to sleep, nor will the screen saver kick in. I'm worried about burn if I forget to use the hot corner to force the display off (and I'd like to not need to do that).

Anybody else seeing a similar issue? This didn't start until Catalina, and I'm on 10.15.3.
