Hi,

As the title suggests, am I right in believing that the new retina MBP has no IR sensor and no battery level indicator as is currently on the 'classic'/ previous gen MacBook Pros?

Edit: Just read this on Engadget

I haven't used the battery indicator since they had removable batteries and I haven't used the IR remote since they killed off Front Row. So it's fine by me, lol. Less clutter. Also I second a bluetooth remote. But many people just use their iOS devices as remotes. I wish the Apple TV remote was bluetooth. Heck, I wish I could even find my Apple TV remote...
