I bought a 2.0 Macbook a couple of weeks ago, and it didnt' come with any install disks or anything? Is that normal? There is no apple store in my city so i can't go there to find out.

This just doesn't seem right.

No, I got it from Best Buy. I wanted to use their no interest credit line.

the install discs are supposed to be in the box, along with some written documentation and a cloth used to clean the screen. did you get any of that stuff? are the install discs the only things missing? check the box carefully. they may be hiding! If they are in fact missing, call apple care and they'll send you some. have your documentation such as purchase date/serial number at hand when you call, so they can verify the purchase.

Disks clearly shown.

Are you sure you've checked the WHOLE box? Tip it upside down and check to see if a smallish box falls out. Because the disks are in there... Otherwise ask Apple Store for the disks.

Interesting thought - if it's a return and BestBuy didn't give you a discount since it's used, they aren't playing fair. When you first booted, did you see login screen with a login account? Clear way to show it's been used.
