No internet access - CPU2CPU network?

Hi MacRumors, I'm having an issue getting my MBP to connect to my home wifi. When I click the drop down list of all networks it has all the wifi networks in range listed under wifi but for some reason my network is listed as a device or a computer to computer network (It alters between the two). I've got my homegroup password and tried that as well as my wifi password with no luck connecting (It says connection failed every time?)
Also it asks for a WPA2 password.
What can I do?
