This is not an issue with iOS16, it’s been occuring since late 15.

I have a lot of reports after searching something on Google that there is no internet connection. This was never an issue, I have decent connection. It happens with Google Maps too.

The weird part is, sometimes I search for something, results show up for a brief second and then show that there is no connection. I have to refresh to get it.

Something wrong with the phone or is this a known bug?

Maybe a couple more details would help. Which phone? Are you using the Google Maps app or via Safari? What connection type (wi-fi, cellular) are you on when it happens?

iPhone SE from 2020. Using the app and on wifi.

If I type an adress for example, it shows a result, then two letters later it shows no connection, two letters later it shows results, etc. I have three bars connectivity at all time and even moving closer to the router, it’s the same. I don’t get instant results anymore when looking up something on Google.

On cellular it doesn’t happen though, but it does happen on wifi at work too. It got dropped quite hard on the top left corner once, is that where the wifi connector is located? But then again it didn’t happen immediately after that.

What happens if you test with a different search engine? Are you on a VPN? Does it only happen on your iPhone?
