So I updated my Mac mini (m2) to 13.3 and now I have no internet. The wifi is connected but nothing loads. I’ve tried restarting and that gives me a few seconds of internet and then nothing.

I have Mac mini M2 and I do not have this issues useing my Wi-Fi 6E modem from Comcast’s

what modem are you using?

Your not trying to used the Wi-Fi 6E network or setting are you since that mash it is not capable with Wi-Fi 6E

has you can only can do Wi-Fi 6 with it

all so I would upgrade to Wi-Fi 6E so that way you can take full advantage of your Mac mini M2 Wi-Fi 6E

It worked perfectly well until I updated the OS.

I am having issues with networks on my Mac once I upgraded to 13.3 also. Speed test frequently does 150 Mb per second on ethernet connection yet a parallels windows VM run speed test at over 900 Mb per second. Gmail is almost unusable, and even getting to this forum was very difficult - I actually gave up and I am using my iPad on cellular. I restarted the router, and I restarted the Mac laptop. This is really working badly, not sure what to try.

it would be help full if you guys can state if your using your own modems or rent modem such has AT&T Comcast or other rent cable modem has I have Comcast modem and I have no issues on Mac os 13.3

saying things like my internet is not working due to Mac OS 13.3 is not helping any one please state what kind of modem you have your own or if you are renting a modem from your Internet places

Mine is a Netgear CM2000 with 1400/42 service. Router is Netgear RBR850. Cable modem shows excellent signals, and neither device is logging any errors.

I have also flushed DNS cache. I have terrible trouble getting access to some web sites including this one; Safari says "Unable to open page". Chrome fails too. Go to a Windows. In fact, I had to go to the Windows machine to do this reply - I could get to the reply box but it never let me post it - failed.

Has anyone solved this problem? I'm still having to use ethernet with my Mac mini because it drops the wifi all the time.

I am not sure if this is at all related, but check Private Relay under your iCloud. When mine was on it slowed my Internet connection to a crawl and many of the sites I tried accessing timed out. Just a thought.

OP:

You might try going to the network setting and DELETING all existing wifi setups.

Then... REBOOT. Don't skip this.

Then... create a NEW wifi setting.

Also, I suggest you look for the option "hardware" which controls certain connection parameters.
The default setting is "auto".
There should be a popup menu "configure" (default is set to "automatically")
CHANGE THIS to "manually".

(I'm writing this reply on Mojave, things may be changed with the latest OS)
Look for "MTU".
It should be set to "standard (1500)".
Change this to something else (we're just doing this for a moment).
Then, CHANGE IT BACK to 1500 again.

For the moment, I'd leave things set to Manually, but with MTU set to the "standard 1500" setting.

The idea is that we "stirred the pot", but didn't change any of the actual settings.

NOW...
In the wifi preference setting, I think you need to "click the plus sign" (found towards the bottom) to create a NEW wifi connection. Hmmm... this may have already been done by creating the new setting.

You'll need to select your wifi network and enter the password.
Apply these settings.

I realize this seems like "a bunch of work for nothing".
But TRY IT and see if it makes a difference for you.

Please come back and report your experiences.

I tried this and it didn't work. Perhaps it's even worse than before! It's losing connection a few times a minute.
And mostly when I click the 'details' button in Network nothing happens.
