I heard that Apple's licence with the major record labels ends in early 2006. So why bother with iTMS Australia in the meantime. It's nearly 2006 anyway.

Same, I'm so sick of the rumours. Let it be untill it comes out. I've been thinking about using the service if it's released, but I still reckon it's still better to buy a CD for the highest quality sound. This way it's future proof for a new audio format that will shock the world.

I agree, I'm so over the whole ITMS rumours, besides I wouldn't buy music to download I'd much prefer higher quality cd's to copy over to my iPod.

$16.90au does seem a little steep for an album that may or may not survive a couple of harddrive swaps.
But the jewelcase plugin sure makes it feel as though you own the cd anyways..

Appletalk australia is saying that it will happen very soon ;)

Not that they would know, they're just leeching information from the rumour sites like.. oh... MacRumors.

Yeah, I wish they would hurry up!! As long as they sell an Album for approx. $15 is this realistic?
Why can't apple make one big store, and let everyone in the world download off that one store, or am i missing something???
