No iTunes Extras with Inception Download?

I just got the Blu Ray Inception which comes with the free digital copy so I got it from iTunes which claims to have iTunes extras with a purchased copy but didn't get anything but the movie after downloaded. Is it because i didn't "buy" it that i didn't get those features? I would've wanted to see the behind the scenes (don't have a blu ray player at the moment).

Yes, the digital copy is strictly the movie itself. You'd only get the extras if you actually purchase the movie from iTunes.
