No location services nagging in 2.0.1

I just realized that since upgrading to 2.0.1, I no longer get the location services approval popup anymore. I never minded it too much but it is nicer not to have to deal with it every time I wanted to locate myself.

I've noticed this too. I'm torn though. While it was annoying to have it constantly pop up, at least when it did I was more apt to remember to turn it off (I've read it's a battery hog). Now I don't know whether it's on or off without checking.

well mine still pops up plus location is often wrong depending where I am. I'm in Houston and it may place me in Portland. 2.01 was a joke.
