No longer able to hide apps

Since the latest iTunes update I am no longer able to hide apps like I used to by going to 'purchased' and then hovering mouse over app until an 'x' appears. Advice would be appreciated.

If you right click, there's the Hide Purchase option.

That seems to be the only way to do it now.
