No macrumors app?

With so many users here at macrumors, why is there no iphone app? Seems like other forum have native apps that make browsing the forums a lot easier.
 
I agree. You would think they would make the website optimized for the iPhone.

Edit: I see there's an iPhone Friendly section, but it looks horrible on the iPhone.

it's an unofficial rogue app, not by macrumors, but rather by some lazy scumbag who seems to think it's ok to harvest the site for their own personal benefit.
 
I've wondered this too. With the amount of activity that happens here and being such a great site it should have it's own iPhone/iPad app.
 
I think it's a good thing there is no app for macrumors. The last thing we need is another app that does nothing more than the website can do.
 
yes, it would be nice if there were one. Obviously it would have to do more than just be a stand-alone app that recreates the mobile website, but if done right, it could be great.
 
Yeah i agree a macrumors app would be great. look at engadgets app its aweosome why not have a macrumors one with forums and all it would be great! make the icon red or white with the macrumors logo!
 
it could be done exclusively in safari with an iphone version. anyone ever goto modmyi.com on the iphone? everything is formatted to fit.
 
Any developers outhere? I browse the iPhone forum all day and it would just be great. :)
