I don't have any mail notification neither to apple watch 4 neither to iPhone x. I set it up form my old buck up. In iPhone i don't have mail notification from the beginning that i bought it.

This seems to be a bug in iOS 12. In your Apple Watch app you most likely have the notifications to mirror your iPhone. So go on you phone settings and look at mail notifications. I bet you they are off. You have to set the tone and the vibration. This happened to me too.

everything is on with sound and badges also. I tried everything hard reset the iPhone the apple watch, everything. To receive mail notification i have to install 3rd party gmail app and this is working.

Go to settings>notifications>mail then tap on each mailbox. See if the sound and vibrate are on.

When you go to sounds on each mailbox scroll all the way up and you will see the vibration option.
