No Mail Notifications

I am very pleased with my watch but I am not receiving new email notifications - no sound or haptic touch. If I click on the email icon on the watch, the emails then arrive. I am receiving message notification OK - just not email ones.

On the Apple Watch app on my iPhone my settings under Mail are:

• Custom
• Show Alerts
• Show Alerts from Easynet
• Sound and Haptic are both on

Any thoughts anyone?

Same here. I have a few contacts set at VIP's, i get notifications on my phone but never on the watch, even when i am wearing the watch and my phone is locked. Pretty annoying as this is a useful feature for me. Have definitely set to notify in the iPhone Watch app too.

Check the iPhone's settings for the email accounts under notifications too. I suspect it's definitely a settings issue somewhere along the line.

Yes, I am sure you are correct as I get notifications and taps from the activity app. Strangely enough, I have been getting email notifications tonight. Does having the iPad open stop emails coming to the Watch?
