No matter what, can't watch facebook videos on 3GS

Hi,
I have a 3GS w/ios 5.0 JB.my problem is i can't watch videos uploaded to fb.when i press play,it goes to a site starting with m.ak.fbcdn.net/video and then nothing happens.FB app or safari doesn't make any difference.no problems with youtube videos or m4v videos.just direct FB videos. I did everything i could find to solve this but nothing changed.Waiting for someone's help to solve this annoying problem.I appreciate all kinds of help.Thanks.
