No mention of iOS26 Release Candidate

Not to mention they literally didn't mention iOS. AT ALL. Weird

They mentioned liquid glass at the very beginning, but yeah, didn't talk anything about it during the iphones, maybe they did during the iPhone Air. iOS definitely wasn't talked about much. And they didn't even give any updates about Apple Intelligence.

They don't really talk about beta software at the iPhone event, that's only during WWDC since it's specifically targeted to developers.

Considering this was a hardware event I didn't expect any mention of iOS 26 whatsoever. That's what WWDC was for. I'm pretty sure that the RC has always been released after the annual hardware event in September each year (barring the iPhone 12 which was October).

Apple watch 10 (23R351).

All 3 were updated in less than 45 minutes today.

They mention the new betas are available after WWDC as its a developer event, they don't mention release candidate software available after the new iPhone event.

You are mixing up WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) with iPhone events which focus on hardware. In June they announce when developer beta 1 is available and then for the public "this fall".
