no messages between iOS 8 and iOS 7/mac

Not sure if I should post here or in iOS 7 since it involves both.

Since my daughter updated her phone to iOS 8, in addition to her messages being split out of group conversations in other iOS 8 devices, I do not receive her messages on iPad 2 that I reverted to iOS 7.1.2 nor MBP running 10.9.5.

I'm sort but I think iOS 8 has been the biggest cluster-****** ever. I can't synch my work iPhone 5 (running 8.0.2) with iTunes on work PC either.

Can someone supply link to let Apple know issues....

I guess 8.0.2 fixed it for her because now she is back in the group conversation on iOS 8 devices, and shows up on iOS 7 devices.

Now, if I could just synch up my iPhone.....
