No Micrphone

Hi everyone! Finally received my iPhone 6 Plus on Friday, and I LOVE it!
I am still getting used to some of the new features and such.
One thing I cannot figure out on mine is, I do not have the microphone that is supposed to be located to the right of my text box (In messages). I wanted to play around with the feature of sending an audio text message, but I don't even have the microphone to the right.
Has anyone else had this issue or know the fix for it?

Must be in an iMessage conversation; strictly iDevice-to-iDevice. Doesn't work with SMS.

yes both those new message features are for iMessages only

the take a quick picture one and the voice note one

of course you can still send a voice memo using the voice memos app
