hey guys

i have 10.5. i noticed this morning that my SR macbook pro doesnt have the 'bong' noise when i turn it on. is this a leopard thing?

thanks

When you turn it on, keep holding the power button, it will give you a low-pitched beep.

If that dosent happen, you may want to try taking the battery out (With the computer NOT plugged into a power source of course).

After Taking it out Hold the power button for 5-10 seconds.

Then put the battery back in.

Make sure that you don't have any headphones or separate speakers plugged in when you turn the volume up "full blast". It's a separate volume than if you unplugged them, which is what the "bong" volume follows. So make sure you don't have anything plugged into the headphone jack and then turn the volume up.
