Based on other blogs and such I know there are other issues with Mail that people seemed to be more concerned about... specifically in regards to Gmail accounts. However, the one thing that's bugging me is a change in inline PDF preview support and I can't find a solution. Up to 10.9 if an email had a PDF attached, it would automatically preview it inline in the email (3 pane view) for me. This was definitely the case in all versions of 10.7 and 10.8. Starting with Mavericks, though, the message body no longer shows the PDF preview. Instead, I have to click in the header area and either click the PDF to open it in Preview (or save it) or hit a little drop down arrow and click on Preview. I know its been possible in the past to trojan an email with a compromised PDF, but why the sudden change? More importantly, anyone know a workaround? I've tried looking in Preferences for an option to show attachments inline, but there doesn't seem to be one...
