No more input manager in Leopard!

As ars technica has posted there will be no more input manager in Leopard.
That means no more Apple menu hacks and no more Safari plug-ins.
I wonder whether this includes the menu bar?

Either way this will break a lot of shareware apps.

Ooops, figures. Searched for Input manager, not InputManager.

Anyway, I agree, this has a good and a bad side to it.
