No more Pages quick look?

I've just updated to the latest OS X and Pages and hitting spacebar when in Finder no longer shows a preview of the file, just a big Pages logo.

Am I missing something? I use that feature several times a day.

Try quicklook on a file you just edited. Does that work?

I noticed that quicklook won't show the contents on Pages documents that were created with an older version of Pages. In my case the break point is somewhere between early 2006 and mid 2006 which is when I would've upgraded from iWork '05(Pages 1) to iWork '06(Pages 2). This is on Mountain Lion.

I am guessing the Pages quicklook on Mavericks may have a different cutoff for what will show.

Check for an old iWork.qlgenerator in ~/Library/QuickLook (used for current user)

The one I found was dated 2011 and was 3MB in size.

Delete it.

There will be an up-to-date copy of iWork.qlgenerator in /Library/QuickLook (used for all users)

The one I found was dated 2013 and is 45MB in size.

Keep this one.

This worked for me just now. I can QuickLook both old and new Pages documents.
