Hi-
I am curious how I no longer have any "recovered files" in my trash after shutting the computer overnight. Not really sure what they do, but someone told me that it is how the mac osx cleans itself. The computer used to have "recovered files" for about a year but no longer. Is this anything I should be concerned with?

Thanks.

No. Ordinarily you won't have those, in fact, the fact you were seeing them repeatedly before indicates that there was a problem, likely with a cache or temporary file. Not major, but something the OS was taking care of. That problem is no longer around, so now you're not seeing those files. Perfectly normal.

Amazing. I so love this board.

Thank you for the quick responses.

It's weird, but I have not seen one of those files in my trash in a very, very long time. I used to get them quite a bit, before Leopard.
