No more sales tax on The Daily?

The daily is the only subscription-based app I have through the app store. Eac time the subscription renewed, I was always charged Texas state sales tax. On my June 23 receipt for my weekly renewal of The Daily, I was charged sales tax, but on my next receipt for the first week of July (and each week since) I have NOT been charged sales tax - just a straight 99 cents. What changed?

I noticed the same thing here in Tennessee.
