I'm not sure if the gesture 3-fingers swipe to go back in Finder (just like in Safari) has been disabled, or if it's conflicting somehow with my options in BetterTouchTools.

I don't have any swipe gestures set in BetterTouchTools. The swipe gesture is still set in my trackpad settings as they were before. Three-finger swipe to go back still works in Safari for me.

It would be so baffling if they took this feature away in Mavericks. It's really slowing down my browsing around through Finder.

Thanks everyone for any help!

Hey! Your second link actually provided an answer for the problem. At least for me, and anyone else using BetterTouchTool.

DH commented on the page in that second link:
"I managed to work around it. I had better touch tool installed already, and I added two custom gestures:
threefingersleft: keyboard shortcut cmd+{
threefingersright keyboard shortcut cmd+]"

That worked for me! :)

Thank you for the help. Please excuse me for bringing up a topic that already had a thread started about it.
