I just finished installing Win 7 64 on a Mac Mini and I'm having the problem of the USB ports not working so that I can't log in. The Boot Camp Assistant did it's thing and installed all the drivers from the Windows Support Software package. The USB mouse and keyboard worked fine during installation and will even work for choosing boot startup repair before the log on, but once the log on screen comes up they die. I've tried unplugging them and plugging them back in and I get nothing.

You're using USB3 port ? If so go to terminal

- type diskutil list

Find the disk slice for your bootcamp and type

sudo /usr/sbin/bless --device /dev/disk1s2 --setBoot --nextonly --legacy

Replace disk1s2 by the disk of bootcamp you find in diskutil command
This will enable legacy boot only on the next restart so you will have to install your drivers when you login else the next boot will not have the mouse or anything else working.
