Everyone is so caught up in "name brand" cases. Today I bought a no name case, not even the packaging had anything on it and it is great so far! Similar to the otterbox commuter it has a thick layer of green silicone then a black plastic shell but on the back there is a design cut out of the plastic to let the green silicone show through and it looks really nice! It is exactly the same as the commuter in terms of bulk and because I've always believed silicone absorbs shock better than plastic I think this case will actually withstand more of a drop! Only thing I don't like is the fact that there is no plastic on the top or bottom of the phone, not a big deal. Time will tell if it holds up or not as I go to work with my phone in my pocket. I have yet to see anyone with the same case but I bet if I plastered otterbox along the bottom in big letters I would!
