I have no need for iPhoto and it's quite annoying when I plug my iPod in and all it does is try to download the pictures. It's just taking up a large space (Almost a 1GB) and I just don't need it. The question arises that, if I remove it and it came on my system, that if I do delete it, can I still get it back for free, or will I have to pay for it?

If you "enrolled" the app to your itunes account it of course will be listed in your purchased history and can be downloaded again so check that first , just open the App store on your mac and go to installed applications if you havent done it should say something about linking etc

I guess he wants to know how you view and organise your photos.

On a side note, I do not use iphoto on a regular basis but I encountered situations that made me use it so I could acces photos in othe applications.
