No Network connection in Parallel Windows virtualization

Hi there.

I am using a MBP'09 2.26 13" on SL 10.6.2.
I installed Windows XP SP2 in Parallels v4.0 virtualization. Everything went fine with the installation etc. , but I 'm not able to access the internet via windows. I configured the IP/Subnet/DNS etc. but to no avail. I use a wireless broadband connection on an ADSL2+ modem. Need some advice here please.
