Looks like by "refreshing" the 17" notebook jobs meant they will still sell the same one they sold yesterday for the same price. With the same single 8600gt. But they have the ssd option!

Selling the old macbooks and old mbp 17" alongside these new notebooks is gonna get a little confusing.
It's like they have the low end, the single cheap macbook, then a new range the 13"-15" new glossy notebooks, then they high end but still old(so not really high end) 17" old style macbook pro.
 
What they should do, is keep the 17" macbook pro the way it was, with the Matte screen option, and upgrade it with the new processor speeds and the 9600M GT.
