Apple is being pretty sneaky these days. You never know what could show up on Saturday.

Or even better, "next Tuesday".
 
I wouldn't be surprised if apple just brings something out without a huge media event. So many people know Apple now anyway. They'll get press no matter what.

I'm not sure when it was announced, but the official release date of the 20th Anniversary Mac was May of 1996.

I thought he said they wouldn't see us before then,
and not that they wouldn't see us until then.

If he said 'until' then I would expect an Apple deal, but since (IIRC) he said 'before', I have zero expectation.
