No new AT&T data plans with 3GS

I can't remember whether when Apple initially announced the iPhone whether they also announced the data plans at the same time? If so I'm disappointed there was no announcement of new cheaper AT&T plans for the 3GS.

Do you guys think the rumors were incorrect, or are we just waiting for AT&T's announcement?
