No new iPad it looks like

I doubt they'd make a big hubbub about adding TouchID to the iPad.

Pretty sure it be a while until the iPad will have the curved glass like the iPhone 6.

Perhaps in January.

I think the October event will be the big one with new iMacs, Mac minis, MBP, MBA, appleTV, iPads and iPods. September event is always iPhones.

I really want a tablet, the iPad Air. Do you think it would be worth just to wait? And if so, when does Apple typically reveal its iPads?

Makes me wonder what their plans are for the iPod touch screen sizes, or if they will even continue the iPod touch... They have to.... Right?

considering it is the only iOS Model without 64bit support at this time.... Yes:)

It looks more and more now like that iPhone 5c is going to replace iPod Touch, they are about the same price in stores now. I think it's good for people who need iPod touch for things other than to store music offline.

An 8GB iPhone 5C is $450.00.
A 64GB Touch 5 is $299.00.

What kind of math makes the price similar and why would anyone want only 8GB :D ?

In India, where I live, iPod Touch 32 GB is available for 20,000 (USD 320) and iPhone 5C (USD 350) is available for 22,000 Indian Rupees.

While the available storage is one fourth, you have to consider that 5c has iPhone 5 specs, and cellular capabilities, while iPod Touch is just 4s in iPhone 5 casing minus cellular.

Sounds like they are closer in price there.

In the US, the 32GB Touch 5 cost $249.00 (15, 182 Indian Rupees) while the 8GB iPhone 5C cost $450.00 (27,437 Indian Rupees).

I also have WiFi most area I go so my Touch 5 gets the same use as an iPhone 5C except when I'm traveling (I have no desire for cellular capabilities).

Are you sure there is an October event? They are too close in time, 2 big events in 2 consecutive months. Maybe January?
