No new laptops on Tuesday from Apple

There will be no new MacBook's or MacBook Pro's announced tomorrow. End of story. Apple wants all the money and attention of the iPhone for now.
 
Thanks for the heads-up. Any insider info on other stuff that won't be happening?

agreed.

the new mbp will come out via apple style event, not just some store update.

this next and final Apple event for 2008 is our last hope for a new mbp in 08

i heard from a very reliable source that it is a definite no for "free pick what you want from the apple store Tuesday" for this Tuesday. maybe next week.
 
Maybe they will finally release the long anticipated Chuck Norris firmware for the Mac Mini so it will finally kick a$$ and take names, instead of putter along with two-year-old chipsets!! :p
