No New Mighty Mouse ????

Hi All,

I don't know about the majority of people however I thought that with the release of the new Imac's and the new Keyboard we could expect a new Mighty Mouse.

Have I missed something or just had too higher expectations ?

what did you expect, aluminum racing stripes?

i really wish apple would implement a real scroll wheel, free-spinning like those in the logitech mx/vx revolution mice. i actually wouldn't mind it in an aluminum color.

I had the MX - returned it because of the damn wheel. For one, I could never get middle-click right. At certain angles there will be an audible click, but it would not register.
For two, the freespin mode is absolutely useless for real applications (though, admittedly, it makes for a really cool toy). It is too imprecise - and I found that for scrolling through a long document scroll bars work much better.

Apparently, the MM has seen a revision bump. It was mentioned in another thread around here somewhere...

Maybe this quiet revision bump will fix some of the problems with scrolling (and right clicking?) from the past.
