Hello all.

I suspect I already know the answer to this, but figured I would confirm things.

I shouldn't have allowed my daughter to update her iPad Mini 1 to iOS 9.x, as it is really starting to struggle now...

In hindsight, I probably shouldn't kept things on iOS 7!

Be that as it may - there's no turning back now, right? As in, no way to get iOS 8.x installed again, since Apple have stopped signing it ages ago. Correct?

If you're on an early 9.x you should consider upgrading to the latest.

For me, the mini 1 improved at 9.2. 9.3.3 is about the same and is running as well as can be expected considering the mini's resources.

If it's the net that's causing headaches and she's using Safari, consider the browser iCab Mobile. It has built in filters. You can also add filters but because of the mini's RAM, the developer doesn't advise using them for it.

EDIT: Didn't realize the OP is one month old. =)
