No passcode = No heart rate monitor

New to AW3, tried no passcode and noticed no heart rates recorded on the bar graph. Is that a known issue? Seems odd that heart rate monitoring would require a passcode.

Really? I never use password but always get heart rate monitor.

Doesn't have S3 though.

No pass code here, heart rate data is saved and displayed on the graph perfectly.

So just use a passcode. Is it really that inconvenient to tap out 4 digits once or twice a day? If your iPhone is handy, you don’t even have to do that. Just unlock your iPhone and it will unlock your watch.
