No paypal option on UK iTunes store???

Currently I have my card set up for purchases made through the itunes store. I also have a paypal account and want to change to paying with my paypal account intstead. I searched apple's support on this and they say go to edit payment info then click paypal but when I do this there is no paypal option.
Is this normal for the UK itunes store or is it just not working for me??

As far as I am aware of there has never been a PayPal option on the UK iTunes store.
At least, I have never seen one.
