I would like to add a Verizon EV-DO broadband slot card to my ibook g4 and goofed when I bought the machine in August 2005 -- should have bought the powerbook so it had the slot to add a card. Is there so kind of adapter that I can buy that would allow me to plug a USB or firewire cable into the ibook, then plug the ev-do adapter into an external pcmica slot. thanks !!!

This is the only one I could find, but they dont offer any mac support.
Hmm, too bad they dont make a firewire to pc card adapter, then all you would need is a usb 2.0 card and the whole ipod delema could be solved.
