There has to be a complete overhaul to support the photostream and icloud features. Kinda hinted at it by saying that you can save a photo from photostream on your iOS device by putting it into an album...kinda implies much greater functionality in the program
They just didn't spend anytime on it during the keynote...wait until the dev's can breakdown the beta's
If you keep receiving photo's from other devices into your iPad, only a moron would insist they all had to be dumped and always stay in just one default received photo's folder.
There HAS to be a way of making a folder on the iPad called "Kids Party" and move those photo's coming from your iPhone into this new folder.

While image editing tools are welcome additions, I am more eager to see photo management and organization features (e.g., rating, tagging, creating albums).

Yes, they fixed it. The app appears to be a bit buggy though. When you open a screenshot made with the iPad in Albums, the app crashes. Opening it from Photos or Photostream seems to work.
