Hi, for the past few weeks I am unable to order a Mac Mini M4 online and pickup in a local store. I did that many times in the past without problem but it does not work anymore. Even it stated that it is available for pickup in store and I selected the date and the time, when I checked out, there was a message "The Delivery & Pickup Option you've chosen is no longer available for this order. Please select a new option below."
I have an Apple Account Balance. I applied it and added two more gift cards to fully pay for it. I contacted Apple via Chat three weeks ago and the guy said that sometimes customers have such issue when they opted to pay using an Apple Account Balance and/or gift card. He suggested me to pay by credit card only which also did not work. He then suggested me to try again later which also is not working. Why we cannot use Apple Account Balance sometimes? Shouldn't it be like real money that we could use to buy Apple products?
The following was posted January 2024 but I could pickup without issue until the end of the year.
