No picture from Mini

I switched it on and nothing comes on the monitor, it starts up, if i put the install disc in i can hear it working, but nothing on screen.

I did change the RAM (and have put the old RAM back in), tried another vga cable, nothing

The monitor is actually my lcd tv, the PC works fine on it.

And i tried the old PC monitor with the Mini and still nothing.

Im guessing i've invalidated the warranty by swapping out the RAM?

and you can try to zap the pram too.

I've got no start up beep, just power light, dvd drive reads install disc, thats it.

It doesnt shut down either, i have to hold the power button in until it turns off.

Put the old RAM back in - make sure its fully seated too.

If it isnt seated properly the power light flashes right?

Maybe the gpu is dead? But shouldnt it still beep on boot.
