I was trying to load MAC OS 10.0.0 on a clamshell iBook from Mac OS 9. During installation, it told me that I must uninstall OS 9 to do so. So I went ahead...
Got to Mac OS X.
No classic. Not to important to me.
But then, when I downloaded Apple's 10.1.1 update, I begin installation but it won't give me a disk to install it on. It says there's enough room but both are unclickable. What can I do?

this happened to me a few times. once was with system software and i just restarted and it worked. once was with a 3rd party package and i just had to go without the software.
