hi all

last week my iMac g5 iSight MA589LL 2118 went off and it wont come back on.

nothing happens when you press the power button, and ive tried a different power lead.#

ive tried resetting the smu (unplugging, leave for 10sec then plug back it with the power button pressed) but to no avail.

ive opened it up and i cant see the led's?

unless those 4 orange resistors are led's?

are they are under the right speaker?

anyway, im thinking the psu is faulty

any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers.

Sounds like your power supply went bad. My 2011 Imac did the same thing. No power to it when i push the power button or do all the different resets to the logic board.
