I have a broken monitor (no power to the screen) that is out of warranty. I brought this to the genius bar at my local apple store and they tried to turn it on with another power cable, connect to another computer, etc. but to no avail. I paid about $900 a few years ago and the apple tech said that it would cost about $300 to send it back to apple and repair it. I know that I can replace it with another brand for about half of the repair price, but I would rather see this fixed or parted out and put to good use. Should I try to sell it on ebay or is there a market for this stuff here? What is a fair listing price?
