Hi,

A few weeks ago I ran some updates on my macbook pro. Since then I have been unable to select the right resolution, when connected to my LCD TV (1366 x 768)
I've been trying everything. Enabling/disabling overscan, using as primary monitor, reconnecting, but nothing works. However, it works just fine when running windows xp.

What seems to be the problem?

The problem is something like this... Mac OS does not have the resolution settings needed for that LCD TV

Happened with me on my new VIZIO LCD TV that has the same 1368 resolution as you do.

You need to download SwitchResX for the Mac.

It will give you the proper resolution settings on your Mac so you can truly use the LCD TV as a monitor.
