I bought a macbook pro and printer at the Apple Store today. I had a bit of trouble with a rude associate so I really just wanted to get out of there with my stuff. In a haste, I got no receipt! Now, I'm stuck here wondering if its okay to open and set up everything with no receipt ;? Any input?

How can they email it to me if the associate never asked for my email address, he just asked for credit card, school id, and driver's license. Also, I drove over 2 hours to get to the store and won't be back for a while...
Call them and see if they can email it. That's what I did when I bought my iPhone and didn't get a receipt.
They have my information on file... prolly speed dial

They recognize my credit card too. Though for a while they had the wrong address on file and the owner forwarded several receipts to me.

Yes. They also said if the email didn't work, I could stop by the store and pick up a printed receipt.
Thanks, called them this afternoon and got them to email it to me. Now time to play with my new computer.
Beware. They may steal your receipt if you don't specifically ask for it. I remember a guy had his receipt stolen a couple weeks back on this forum and he feared for his life.
